    For all of those who players who want to have fun and get better in the process, this is the camp for you. Christopher Spartz Basketball trainers are dedicated to teaching your child correct basketball techniques. Shooting mechanics, dribbling skills, floor awareness and the value of competing (specifically designed to transfer learned skills into game situations). The result will be increased skill level, improved confidence and enthusiasm for the game of basketball. Most of all, each child will completely enjoy each day of camp and will feel like they had the chance to learn, develop and compete. Nobody is left out and no potential goes undeveloped.

    Ballerz
    The Ballerz workouts will be run by CSB elite trainers to ensure that your experience is fun and positive. In these formative years it is extremely imperative that your child receives the best teachers and learn the proper funda-mentals to excel quicker. The sooner they see the gains, the more fun they have. Our points of emphasis will be: Fundamentals 101; how to have fun playing the game; how to create great habits; sportsmanship and game rules.

    Lil’ Hoopers
    Let the first time your son or daughter pick up a basketball be with Christopher Spartz Basket-ball’s Lil Hoopers! This program is a great way to get acclimated with the premier basketball program of Western Springs at a young age. Designed for pre-school & kindergarten age children, these 45 minute clinics will provide a comfortable and fun group environment as participants learn the fundamentals of basket-ball. Each session will be overseen and run by a certified Christopher Spartz trainer and focus on learning the game, skill development, and providing a structured, engaging environment to get the children excited about the game of basketball.

    Presidents' Day Clinic
    For all of those players who want to have fun and get better in the process, this is the camp for you. Enjoy your day off of school, in the gym.     Join us and be part of the first season of the Spartz’ Sparklers Spirit Teams! The goals of this program are to promote team spirit, develop leadership skills, practice teamwork, improve short-term memory (for learning combinations), develop social and crowd interaction skills, tune up fine motor skills, develop acute precision training, and learn dance basics. Everyone makes the team; participants who complete all 6 classes will participate in two performance opportunities (no competitions). The instructor is Katie Wiencek (Nazareth High School Poms and Division I Champion Pom (Northern Illinois University)).     Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through training in proper technique and foundational skills. Golf is a challenging and lifelong sport, so young athletes need proper focus on the essentials of a good swing, putting, and body positioning. Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New at Golf) technology to its curriculum. SNAG utilizes a set of equipment designed for beginning golfers, including oversized plastic club heads and mini-tennis balls to help build confidence. Holes are constructed with preset tee boxes or launching pads and are finished off with Velcro targets for greens. This program is perfect for developing a love for the game!

    Kids First Baseball
    This program prepares and challenges all players through fun and competitive baseball drills and games that will maximum player potential. Players will be taught position training, batting, fielding, pitching, base running, throwing, and sportsmanship through proven baseball techniques.

    Badminton
    This camp will teach the participants preparation training such as handgrips, racket positioning, serving, plus spiking techniques for this fast and quick paced game. You will also be taught body balance, first step directional movements, badminton awareness and sportsmanship.

    Presented by Lyons Township Soccer Club Little Lyons is a fun recreational soccer experience for boys and girls ages 3-8 years old. Little Lyons is aimed at continuing to develop each child’s cognitive and motor abilities through dynamic, fun, and engaging soccer activities. Kids will learn the proper technical skills from our innovative coaches who enjoy working with young players and making everyone feel comfortable during the sessions. All Little Lyons participants also receive a free t-shirt with each program. Bring a soccer ball with your name on it.

    For the child who dreams of being on the cheerleading squad! Experienced coaches will focus on the sport by teaching cheerleading skills that are fun, safe and fundamental. Program also includes drills to enhance cheerleading techniques, body balance movements, timing, rhythm, pompom bebop dance, jumps, stunts, cheers, rah-rah awareness and sportsmanship. Players will learn football through fundamentals and experience individual and team competitive drills to develop skills. Beginning in week 3, 55-minute football games will be played. Coaches will prepare football plays in huddles and participants will gain confidence in making plays safely and skillfully. Each class will have instruction and bouting (actual fencing). All equipment provided. We have family-friendly classes for both beginners and advanced. Fencing is statistically the most safe and least injurious sport as dictated by the Olympic Committee! So come as a family and have a surprisingly fun and memorable time!
