    The program's goal is to prepare all our players all year long by offering more advanced skills and development opportunities. Our experienced and gifted coaches will provide the tools and knowledge to develop each player to the highest level. Our philosophy is that positive motivation and encouragement will elevate players understanding of the game to a level appropriate for competitive games.

    Tournaments will be Top Cheddar in Milwaukee, WI and LA Shootout in Vernon Hills, IL.** BASE FEE INCLUDES coaches, fields, team supplies, administrative cost. There will be an additional fee for tournaments estimated at $200. All dates, fees and information for lacrosse are subject to change.

    BOX LACROSSE - U10 thru U14
    Learn to play box lacrosse with the Western Springs Lacrosse coaches. Develop better stick skills through 100's of touches of the ball. Learning how to catch and pass in traffic, understanding how to shoot and shot placement, and becoming more physical are all positive benefits of playing box lacrosse which will translate to the field!

    PICKLEBALL SKILLS AND DRILLS
    This fun class is designed to take your skills to a new level through a variety of drills. Practicing these techniques can only add to your playing skills. Each week sets a new challenge and will help your skills in dinking, 3rd shot drop, lobs, forehand and backhand and serving. Equipment provided or bring your own.

    PICKLEBALL CLINIC-OUTDOORS
    Looking to learn or advance your pickleball skills? It’s easy for beginners to learn this fast-paced, competitive game. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball in the style of tennis with some ping pong and badminton mixed in. Great exercise and fun! Basic skills to include: Posture, Ready Position, Grip/Paddle angle, Comfort zone, Dinks, Footwork for dinks, Push it Forward, Keep it Low, Scoring, 2 bounce rule, Forehand and backhand shots, 3rd shot drop, Lobs, Overheads, Court Positioning, Serve and Return of Serve. This clinic is designed for adults over 30. Instructor: Jose Sosa. Equipment provided or bring your own.

    Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual "Kind of a Big Dill" Halloween Pickleball Tournament. It will be a round robin format; guaranteed 7 games, max 8 people per bracket. Register as an individual, 3.0 Novice thru 4.5 Advanced. Prizes for 1st & 2nd place bracket winners. We reserve the right to change tournament format. Brackets will be emailed and posted on our website after registration closes on October 11. No refunds after deadline. Tournament T-shirts also available for purchase, sizes Small thru XX-Large.

    Is your dog out of control and driving you crazy? Or are you tired of being kept up all night from constant barking? If your home furnishings and personal belongings are being chewed up, or you just want basic commands mastered, sign up for this class.

    BEGINNERS ONLY: Dogs must be at least four months old. Handlers must be old enough to handle dog in a group setting. The first class will be a two-hour orientation from 7:00-9:00 pm, without your dog. You must attend this informative meeting.

    ADVANCED CLASS: You must have completed the beginner course with our instructor or evaluated by the trainer.

    Beginners and experienced yoga practitioners will enjoy classic yoga practices that cultivate strength, flexibility, balance, agility and reduce stress. This class combines slow-flow vinyasa and static holding with alignment. Foster mindfulness and equanimity with breathing techniques.     Practice yoga using your breath and body postures to improve balance, posture, strength, range of motion and mindfulness.
