    Learn to create 3D games and challenge your friends. We will be creating games for the PC version of Kodu, Microsoft’s award-winning game design platform. Students will learn the art of rapid game design and develop an understanding of underlying game mechanics. Students can choose from 20 different game characters including flying saucers, submarines, and a Pac-Man-like Kodu character then use an interactive terrain editor, a bridge and path builder, and other tools to create their 3D game world. Kodu is available as a free download for Windows. Bring a USB drive on the last day or games can be emailed to parents.

Our experienced and gifted coaches will provide the tools and knowledge to develop each player to the highest level.     Tournaments will be Top Cheddar in Milwaukee, WI and LA Shootout in Vernon Hills, IL.** BASE FEE INCLUDES coaches, fields, team supplies, administrative cost. There will be an additional fee for tournaments estimated at $200. All dates, fees and information for lacrosse are subject to change.

    PICKLEBALL CLINIC-OUTDOORS
    Looking to learn or advance your pickleball skills? It’s easy for beginners to learn this fast-paced, competitive game. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball in the style of tennis with some ping pong and badminton mixed in. Great exercise and fun! Basic skills to include: Posture, Ready Position, Grip/Paddle angle, Comfort zone, Dinks, Footwork for dinks, Push it Forward, Keep it Low, Scoring, 2 bounce rule, Forehand and backhand shots, 3rd shot drop, Lobs, Overheads, Court Positioning, Serve and Return of Serve. This clinic is designed for adults over 30. The instructor is a retired PE teacher of 34 years and has 17 years of experience teaching pickleball. Equipment provided or bring your own.

    Three of the essential elements used to create a Japanese garden are stone, which form the structure of the landscape; water, representing life-giving force; and plants, which provide the color and changes throughout the seasons. Secondary elements include pagodas, stone lanterns, water basins, arbors and bridges. Japanese gardens are very carefully designed and patiently pruned according to aesthetic principles to create a work of natural art that inspires calm, renewal, discovery and an invigorated soul.     Is your dog out of control and driving you crazy? Or are you tired of being kept up all night from constant barking? If your home furnishings and personal belongings are being chewed up, or you just want basic commands mastered, sign up for this class.

    BEGINNERS ONLY: Dogs must be at least four months old. Handlers must be old enough to handle dog in a group setting. The first class will be a two-hour orientation from 7:00-9:00 pm, without your dog. You must attend this informative meeting.

    ADVANCED CLASS: You must have completed the beginner course with our instructor or evaluated by the trainer.
